Online Book Clubs
Stay connected with new titles and share your thoughts with other readers. See what librarians recommend on Goodreads, take suggestions from the Further Reading blog, or “taste test” daily selections with an online book club.
Use a short cut to get the information you need to grow your garden, business, or college fund. Library Guides point the way to the best resources, both in print and online, for a variety of popular topics—from “Art” to “Voting” and everywhere in between.
Dream Big!/ Own the Night
Young readers are invited to Dream Big!, while teens can Own the Night with this year’s Summer Reading Program. Participants can enjoy a remarkable $400,000 in prizes and incentives from our generous sponsors and community partners. Be sure to sign up (online or at a branch), reach your reading goal, and claim your prizes before school is back in session! A portion of the books earned by Summer Reading Program participants comes from a grant from the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia. Also, Sonic restaurants have teamed up with the Friends of the Library to support Summer Reading and other library programs with a summer-long fundraiser. Customers who mention Gwinnett County Public Library when placing their order at Sonic this summer will have 25% of their purchase go to benefit the library.
