The Story:
AIS has guided more than 2,000 clients in 20 years successfully through the adoption process. By developing an individual plan for each client, the family is empowered to take control and adopt sooner with our education, support, guidance and close relationships with key adoption agencies nationwide.
My Idea Of Fun:
Singing high lyrical soprano in large and small groups. I enjoy working with toddlers and seniors who have the most innocence and wisdom. Also, public speaking, leading workshops, and being a humorist it just flows ad lib.
How I Got Here:
AIS was born of a mothers struggle to adopt her children. Our message is of hope that newborns can be adopted in the U.S. with lots of passion, inspiration, determination, humor and the spirit to never give up. AIS made it.
Things I Tell Myself:
With determination, you can accomplish your goals. The hard work I do to help form families is worth it. You can't do it all. My great staff, professionals, the SBA, the Gwinnett Chamber, friends and family help me every day.
What I'd Most Like To See:
A world that accepts adoption as a natural way to form a family and that honors all members of the triad. A birth mother who chooses to make an adoption plan to provide the best life for her unborn child should be respected.
What's Next For Me:
After 20 years experience, I'm writing an adoption book compiling stories from all members of the triad including adoption professionals who guide them (like AIS). Im also planning for offices nationwide and workshops across the U.S.
